About us

SugarWOD is the first social fitness platform for the CrossFit & functional fitness community. We provide a suite of tools that enable a great workout experience for box owners, coaches & everyday athletes in their gym. We also serve a growing community of remote trainers, workout publishers and online fitness communities.  

For all of the people we serve, our products are built on a philosophy of “creating a fun, easy-to-use and social environment” for their fitness journey. This approach also extends into all of our customer interactions.

We operate in a very low-touch sales environment. Our goal is to create simple self-serve products that speak for and take of themselves. Simple, smart & scalable is how we approach all situations.

A brief history

SugarWOD was started in 2012 as a bootstrapped, fast-growing technology startup. The concept took off, and soon we were serving over 2,200 gyms in more than 50 countries, representing over 600,000 athletes. Then, in 2019 SugarWOD was acquired by Daxko, the parent company of Zen Planner, to create the best end-to-end affiliate and boutique fitness solution on the market. 

We are located in Denver, CO, but you don’t have to be. We make heavy use of online tools including Slack to collaborate. We are open to local or remote team members!
